Poem of the Day: "The Love-Hat Relationship" by Aaron Belz

Aaron Belz (b. 1971) (pictured here without a hat but with a bow tie) holds a PhD in English from Saint Louis University and a BoZo from Clown College.  He has been a teacher of English and Creative Writing at several American colleges and universities and has two published collections of poetry to his name.  Reference to this and additional biographical information may be found here:  http://www.poetryfoundation.org/bio/aaron-belz.


'Tis aboot tim somebody rode a pom aboot the love-hat relationship--long overdo.  Hats are, aft her awl, only hare deep, particularly the warm winter bunny fer sure variety complete with flap jacks.  I squeak as one hoo stands under many hats--as amen hoo under stands.  4X ample (I gots a big nugget), I developed a crush on a black hat just t'other day.  In my defense, 'twas a crushable hat.
